Acceptable Use and User Declaration

1. User declaration

By using the Service, you confirm that:

• you are currently authorised to perform Traffic Escort Warden duties or otherwise authorised to access the relevant records;
• you will use Main Roads information solely for official duties and authorised operational purposes;
• you will access only your assigned or otherwise authorised records;
• you will comply with confidentiality, ICT, privacy, records-management and lawful operational requirements that apply to you;
• you will not share your account, credentials or information with unauthorised persons; and
• you will immediately notify us when your authority or engagement ends.

2. Handling permits and personal information

Permits, licence details, work-order records and contact details may contain confidential or personal information. Users must:

• collect and enter only information needed for authorised duties;
• avoid unnecessary screenshots, downloads, printing or copying;
• secure any device or paper copy used in the field;
• send information only to authorised recipients using approved or reasonably secure methods;
• not retain information longer than needed; and
• dispose of paper and electronic copies securely in accordance with applicable directions and policies.

3. Account security

• Use a strong, unique password and available multi-factor authentication.
• Do not allow browsers or devices shared with others to remain signed in.
• Keep operating systems and applications updated.
• Report lost devices, suspicious logins or incorrect record access immediately to timelleston@gmail.com.

4. No onward commercial use

You must not sell, license, publish, disclose, mine or otherwise commercially exploit Main Roads data. The A$30 subscription is for the Service and its supporting infrastructure, not for the underlying data.

5. Monitoring and enforcement

We may maintain audit logs and investigate suspected misuse. Access may be suspended immediately where necessary to protect information, users, Main Roads or the Service.
